Oh! My God! Those neps are gorgeous! I am entirely green with envy! What incredibly stunning beauties! If only people here in East Texas could find such exquisite specimen... Okay, now, I'm suddenly sad. It's most unfortunate that we cannot expect to import such exotic wonders more readily. I could honestly kill for those mind-blowing CPs. ;-)
I see where you mentioned the plants for sale...Now, thinking about what I am missing out on (Oh! Canada!), I feel depressed about being here in Texas and your being there with them. I swear if I had seed pods from those lovelies I would probably not leave my house until a month after they had germinated--if even then.
I see the moss you're using is spore-bearing. Is that sphagnum moss or something more environmentally friendly such as some locally-sourced or other variety of moss? It has occurred to me that perhaps nearly any living moss might be well suited to neps seedlings, given the moss provides an acidic environment.
Anyway, those pictures, those ravishing neps... I am picking my chin up and off of the floor and shaking my head in disbelief at the same time. (I feel a little dizzy somehow.) Some of you folks are just too talented and skilled. I am absolutely awestruck.
