Saw this and thought it was a fun idea.

I have been taking/making progress photos for some time now (mostly so I could track how these pings of mine transform over time).

Happy to share and track from here as well.

I might just do a reply per different ping type...

P. Gigantea

My very first ping, that I thought would be simpler to care for as it was a larger type and hardy enough.

It was about 2 inches in diameter on arrival and without realizing, she's gotten wider than her pot now (3 inches in diameter).

P. "Ladyfingers"

Part of my group of second pings (which was part of a beginner set).

The first of the long-leaf category pings I got and since then, it has flowered and grown really well.

I have gotten these twice, the second time more as a cluster but I really need to do some leaf pullings on this one.

P. "Piggyback"

Part of my group of second pings (which was part of a beginner set) and also got a few clusters of (more than once).

This is hands-down my easiest ping to grow. This grew so fast and flowered many times for me. I actually gifted the largest 2 of the them (part of the original batch) to a family member as it was an easy one to care for and so pretty to look at... and a fun way to combat a fungus gnat issue.

P. "Marilyn Monroe"

Part of my group of second pings (which was part of a beginner set).

It has since deepened to a lovely dark pinkish red color. I will also be grabbing leaf pullings from her shortly.

P. Ehlersiae x Mesophytica

Always a cool looking ping.

Since arriving, it stayed in its winter rosette for a long while. Now it's finally in it's carnivorous phase and I'm surprised it changed into this gorgeous blushing pink color.

I've only grabbed 1-2 leaf pullings (while it was still a winter rosette) and plan on taking more soon.

P. Jaumavensis x Cyclosecta

I've always loved the very purple pings and was excited to see this one grow but unlike my other purple pings, she's stayed relatively lowkey.

I plan on repotting her and hopefully in more suitable conditions, she can grow more and deepen her colors next year.

Another one that needs leaf pullings as well.

P. Colimensis

I have loved how this one looked like a rose from the very beginning.

At the time of arrival, I was very into ping rocks and settled her on a dragon stone.

Overall, I think this is one my "I-like-drier-conditions" type of pings and am planning on a repot shortly on a more mineral media.

Another ping I need leaf pullings for but will have to wait until some dead leaf cleanup, more leaf growth and all that.

P. spec. "El Mirador"

I have always loved how full this one looks. And she is my most root-y girl lol.

It's a gorgeous and from it's fullness, I've already gotten a few leaf pullings already.

P. Moranensis (Veracruz)

Like the P. Gigantea, she was also a fairly large size when I got her.

The pink/red color only deepened and she's just recently started transitioning to her winter phase. When she's done, I will grab some leaf pullings from her as well.

P. Ehlersiae

This is an absolute favorite of mine.

Here is my absolute favorite photo of her:

She always looked like a lotus flower to me.

Over time, the pink in her leaves have deepened and there are now so very many leaves. Pretty awesome.

P. Jaumavensis 'Cardonal'

This one was a cool one for me.

She was my first to naturally split and continue to grow multiple clusters.

In the process, she pushed out many leafs on her own so I have tons of pups from her.

As I plan to do a big repot, I will probably separate the giant cluster and get even more pullings.

[X] P. "Lilac Lollipop"

This is one I'm sad about. It would have been a beautiful purple ping in my collection.

When I purchased, I had 2 small pups which both eventually succumbed to root rot. I should have done some leaf pullings at the get go but alas, I did not.

Definitely one that needed less watering.

One day, I will get another and try again.
