Carnivore
The U. reniformis has just started flowering, the first flower opening at the weekend. This first flower is just a smidgen larger than a £2 coin. the plants normally have a good display through to the end of June, I will update as more flowers come out..... if I remember.

Nice.
You seem to grow it in a greenhouse. Are you giving it full sun ?
I give a low light amount to my utric, otherwise, they seem to burn.
Alpina is blooming at the moment but reniformis is only sending leave after a Winter break.

Hi Shoggoths, Yes, it has always been out in the greenhouse and in full sun, or at least as much sun as the twinwall polycarb sheet lets through.
My plants sit out in the greenhouse all through the UK winter, with the first leaves appearing in April, and flower spikes developing in May.
Being from high altitude Brazilian forests, it likes cool nights and highish humidity. I control none of those factors, but do grow them in pure live Sphagnum and stand them in lagoons all year round, which would increase the local microclimate humidity.

Cheers
Steve
