Thanks a lot. The only think I could imagine could be better is lower the light level (that was initial suspicion).I did a bit of sleuthing and checked with the plant people at work and I can confirm that it is definitely not powdery mildew. It was suggested that it may not be a mould or fungus, but non-optimal growing conditions. I reassured my contact that carnivorous plant folk are fastidious about growing conditions. So, this has stumped the scientists at my end. Sorry I couldn’t give you a more definite answer.
The problem is that light burn pattern look different on other plants (colour is consistent though).
