I bought some from California Carnivores. It was $5 usd for what feels like 200 g (no weight on the bottle). But it dilutes 1/4 teaspoon per gallon. It will last me decades.

If you grow a lot of pings and succulents maybe try Shultz cactus fertilizer and dilute 1/4. I've heard a lot of the sellers in the states are switching from MaxSea to Shultz because the former can encourage browning heart disease.

Browning heart-is that when dews get brown in the center and then deteriorate? Pings sort of dew the same thing.

yea it's a fungal infection. Basically, the apical meristem// active growing tip rots. Which really sucks for Pings because you can't really save them
((Although the issue could be from the method of fertilizing as top watering Pings causes the same issue. I suspect that a fine mist of maxsea or a drop on the leaves is fine, and that rot is caused by fertilizing and letting the water sit in the crown.

Good to know. Got no dews but read they are finicky with fertilization.

I've been watering my Pings by syringing small amounts of water at their bases where the roots come out.

This is just for general watering, no fert in soil!
Just squirting a few drops per month or so of MaxSea 1/4 tsp / USG.

I use osmocote sometimes. For bigger Nepenthes traps, and my indoor veggies.
Actually, I also fertilized my outdoor Sarracenia with an osmocote pellet for many of the first pitchers of the season. One pellet and a squirt of water. But, I have no idea if it was a good thing or not :s no control, and no before or after photos... And, the pitchers usually fill up with wasps and flys pretty quickly
