Hey everyone,
So for Christmas I got some lighting and fans for an old aquarium I am thinking of turning into a terrarium for carnivorous plants. I am thinking of using live sphagnum moss to establish it and to have a nice display with that.
I am curious to know if anyone has had sphagnum moss growing out of peat soil. I reported a plant a really long time ago and was left with a flan like peat moss structure that I put in the middle of my big tray (see centre of tray picture) and a year later it grew a lot of sphagnum! Does this happen to everyone or was it just a lucky strike for me?
PS I can't use the moss because I just sprinkled some drosera seeds on it.
