Devon's photo thread.

One month after shipping for the D. madagascariensis. Very happy with the growth rate of this little dude.

Just a tad taller now....As Lloyd said, "do feed the dew"

They do respond to FDBW. Also when they get too leggy, just cut them off with about a cm or two below the lowest live leaf and just stick the bare stem into the soil so the lowest live leaf is at soil level. Don't worry about the rooted part.

Pingucula rectifolia X heterophylla {Tonala} I acquired from Willy couple months back.

Does Rectifolia X heterophylla {Tonala} go semi dormant? I know my care was slipping over the winter, however this container made a strong come back over the last couple of weeks..

Also, should I keep them on the semi dry side? I've been scared to over water.

Mine from Willy, definitely went dormant last winter and now most of it is in full growth. There are still some bulb like parts which are still dormant. I keep mine slightly damp while it is growing.

Cheers! It seems my lack of care kinda simulated the winter conditions it wanted. I'll keep it damp but not water logged until fall again

Little upgrade for the highlands.... This freezer is still functional, so I'll try a external thermostat and timer before trying the water chiller modifications.

The Highland Neps suffered a sudden collapse and browning about a month ago, moldy moss was the culprit. I every so carefully repotted them and increased the airflow greatly to prevent the issue again hopefully.

New growth showing on the N. tentaculata.
