i took the tiniest little root/leaf from the drainage holes of my Alpina, and kept it nice and humid for a while. after i noticed for roots forming i acclimated it to a lower humidity and planted it inside of a suction cup sponge holder from the dollar store 
hanging in my window. it’s just a baby but i’m very happy with how it’s turned out so far
