I'm planning to find some drosera linearis in BC next spring (because all of the records of it is in the east coast.)

It is quite hard to find and I would require some good sense for suitable environments for it, I would look around on the satellite for possible habitats. They prefer more swampy environments than bobby according to some websites. Wish me luck.

Oops I realized I said bobby instead of boggy.

Newest insect around the bogs, bald faced hornets. There are a few that hang out by me. I first thought they were white ish bees but saw their face and though otherwise. They don't seem to mind me which is good.
Hi, I need some systemic insecticide to control scales on some of my sarracenias. Do you still sell some? is it safe for all sarracenias?

@daniella3d: are the Sarr's outside? I found scales on outside Sarr's disappeared.

the sarracenias that have scales (lots of them now) are in a small greenhouse, outside. Maybe I should put them just plain outside. I see no scales on the sarracenias that are outside in direct sunlight.
