Willy's health update

Hello everyone! How are you doing?
I have finished the BMT treatment and have been doing slightly better each day. BMT was quite rough, I won't wish it on my enemies.
Blood counts are back to normal and chemo side effects are slowly recovering.
Time flies! It's already been two months since I was released from the hospital.
My immune system is still very weak, I have to retake all the previous vaccines in a few months.
The latest PET scan shows that most of the cancer is now gone! Great news! Fewer cancer cells is always good.
There are two small locations left, measuring 8mm and 9mm near the heart & lungs.
They are planning radiation treatment for me next. Hopefully, things will go smoothly!
Thank you once again for your support, care, and prayers. :)

With a little bit more energy, I have been trying to reorganize the plants and get rid of the dead plants & empty pots.
I'm slowly rebuilding the Ping collection.
If you have space & energy for some TLC (tender love care) plants, let me know. I want to clear out some CPs so I have more space to reorganize.
I'm also doing some experiments with TC, it's been fun. I'm glad that most of the cultures have survived.

Hi Willy!
Congrats to you and your team on getting through the BMT! You'll get great care from the RT team, too. More good vibes and prayers coming your way.
I doubt I have any pings you need/want (I whittled my collection down to four), but let us know! Sorry, no space for more plants (oh, that's so hard to say!). :p TC experiments do sound fun.

Glad to hear things are working out for you!

You'll kick this Cancer out once for all!

:) Which plants are you looking to getting rid of?

Hello everyone!
Willy's here. I know some of you are really worried about my health conditions, so here's a little update to keep you posted.

Since April I have been experiencing a set of health conditions, started as quite mildly and then gotten worse as time progressed.
Some of the symptoms I have been dealing with are: fever, chills, coughs, asthma attacks, shortness of breath, difficulty eating, chest pain, muscle pains, fatigue, swollen lymph nodes... The worst of all is the asthma+cough that keeps me from falling asleep, it drains my energy badly.
COVID tests came back negative and it was also not contagious.

After seeing the doctor a few times, and arranging a bunch of different lab tests, x-ray, ultrasonic scan and CT scan; the results finally came back around end of July.
The good news, is that they have identified what's wrong with me, so that we can start to look at the next steps with a specialist.
The bad news, is that there's a big tumor in my chest, sized 10*7.5cm pressurizing all the nearby organs causing a lot of pain and troubles.

It takes time to book each appointment and each little thing, I hope booking the next things will go smoothly.
Anyway, it's gonna be a long bumpy battle and unfortunately looks like I'm stuck struggling with these health conditions until they can do a surgery to remove the tumor. And hopefully by removing the tumor, things could start to get better again.

I really appreciate all the kind comments and messages sent to me, I've read them all and will keep them to my heart.
Life can be quite unexpected sometimes, but I believe that God will be on my side and lead me through this chapter of life.
Thank you, and I hope I will have more good news to share next time!
Cheers,
Willy

Keep on. All the best.

Glad to hear the treatment went well ok, Willy. Wish you all the very best. Hope that the radiation will be the last treatment and you can be on the mend from now on. :)
