A wild bee? I rescued from my Sarracenia flava. It’s been a bad year for bumble bees and these wild bees in my pitchers hopefully that means there’s just that manny more wild bees around this year
Rescued another poor roughed up mangy bumblebee from my sarracenia today. If you put a stick of grass long enough to reach down to the bottom of the pitcher from the top they can climb out
I picked up a parlor palm from Home Depot in late winter, and one of the pots came with some tiny little millipedes.
After carefully picking them out, I put them in a container with some bark, soil and other junk.
Now, 5 or so months later, they are at least 5x the size!
They took the junk soil with a bunch crap in it, and turned it into some (probably) amazing compost!
I mixed it around today for the first time, and it was so light and fluffy... Just full of bug poop!
I was outside tending to my garden yesterday and i heard the weirdest high pitched buzzing sound and all of a sudden these 2, clearly in the throes of passion, flew into the side of my head, bounced off, landed on a potato plant and just kept going.
