Sick Khasiana

Hey everyone, I got this little khasiana plant in september last year as a bonus and I was totally not ready for it. As a result, the poor thing died right back. I got it under proper lighting and temperatures but it was too late and it was left looking like this.
That happened forever ago and the plant hasnt really grown or changed in any since then so i thought it was dead but when i went to throw it out just now, i couldnt bring myself to do it. Is this growth tip still alive? How can I save the poor little guy if it is?
I was thinking of repotting it into some light airy mix and keeping it in low light and maybe watering with maxsea at like 25ppm because i dont know if it has any energy to work with right now.
If anyone has any advice, I would really appreciate it, thank you :)

I dont mind waiting it out and nursing it back to health as long as there is a chance itll come back.
I dont wanna be that weird guy who just keeps feeding and watering a corpse for the next 5 years :p
do you think it would benefit from a repot? cause it doesnt seem to be doing anything the way it is right now

Doesn't look dead. I'd cut the dead bits off because they look depressing. What temperature? How much light? If it's been a looong time, you might take it out gently and just lay it out with the roots supported on LFS and keep just moist. No supplements unless the roots are growing. Maybe a light foliar spray with TDS of 50 PPM or less of any orchid fertilizer.

it is living in my lowland/intermediate chamber now (when i first got it someone told me it was a highland that loves tonnes of light. it doesnt)
so it gets up around 28ºC daytime and 18-20ºC at night with RH 90%+
and according to my little light meter it is getting around 2900 lux

Maybe lower temperatures during lights on? Probably lower light would be Ok until it starts growing.

Okay, i think it needs a repot so i am going to get it in to a net pot and see what the roots look like.
Then i will put it down toward the bottom of the tent with maybe half the light and slightly lower temperature.
fingers crossed it starts growing again! I think khasiana are beautiful plants and i would feel like a real jerk if i killed an endangered species like that

thank you for the advice :)

Net pot is good. Just have the roots rest on LFS, maybe slightly covered. Moist not wet.

Damn I misinterpreted your first message and didnt get your last message until too late
I did put it in a net pot with a pretty airy mix of sphagnum/perlite and moved it to a spot with 990 lux

This is a picture of whats left of the root. I think the roots were largely rotten cause they crumbled right back to this and all the sphag fell away very easily. I dont know if i left any of the rotten part but i didnt want to do any unnecessary damage either so i gently wrapped this up in sphag and carefully lowered it into the net pot with long terrarium tweezers

I would personally recommend to hold off on any fertilizing for now. Just put it under proper conditions, perhaps bag it up with a couple of holes in the bag to maintain high humidity. It needs to recover and let it start growing a bit before slowly removing the bag completely.

i have a humidistat and humidifier keeping it at between 90-100% humidity in that chamber. do you think it would still benefit from being bagged up?

yeah those roots look really sad. i hope the little fella comes back. I guess as long as there is a green growth tip anything is possible right?

Unfortunately as with almost all plants, roots are more important than top growth. However, if conditions are good, they can regrow roots so don't give up hope. if your humidity is so high then yea, I wouldn't bother with bagging.
