Hey everyone, im bored and since I know I'm going to make a thread like this later in the year I decided now was that time.
and so here are some photos
Little pings in a tiny cup.

A ton of purp seeds finishing stratification (the brown is cinnamon might be a coincidence for stopping mold, but it works for me)

A whole bunch of Drosera filiformis germinating (4-5days)

A really dark purp seedling

love that one.
For now thats it, until I get my bogs out the garage. Losses so far are very minimal.

thats a great start to the year!

how old are the purp seedlings in the last photo?
2 years total? I had them for a year and some. They were given to me at 5 months old
That purp had just started making adult pitchers. They were also given dormancy. I dont skip first year dormancy.

Here are some pics from the bogs. I decided to attached them as files as not to crowd up this thread. Hopefully that works out
In order of pictures here is what they are: Purp Venosa rufffles, Rosea, Montana (tried dividing but it was way too dense and I gave up). Purp purp seedlings (They lived! lost all but two leaves, but they lived. 1 year outside = 4months indoors I find. finally Purp het x Venosa giant or purp het x cuprea since they both flowered at the same time and I didnt protect against natural pollination.

Moved this years seed set into their final place for a few years. Yes it was a while, yes there is about 200+ individuals
I dont care about ID, so overall this can be called a purp mix. There were suppose to be some Purp Het in there, but I have not seen a single one, so i guess many of them are recessive.

Posting the overall photo once they get settled and have a few more pitchers since it looks like grass right now.

Got a New really cheap lens but this time the Auto Focus work and I dont have to spend a while taking manual focus photos.

purp het x purp purp these are pretty green even when there is a lot of light so I expect some nice green plants in the future
lots of AF plants in the mix too

almost half the size of a regular sarracenia seed. For its size its a pretty fast grower, its drosera sized. its different so Im watching it.[/URL]
I threw some random drosera filiformis into the mix cause I have too many.

Purp bog filled up a little too nicely...

Sarracenia Lounge Lizard from Carnivorous Plant Store

And here is a terrible photo of squirrel damage

still digging out seedlings and just to say that drosera in the bottom right was taken from a bog a few meters away and "planted" (buried) in here.
There is still a lot of seedlings, but I still think I dont have enough :p

And here is the first adult like picture of Sarracenia 'sorcerer' x venosa large traps. And it's pretty pink from the rosea side with nice large hood plus greenish colouring. It also got its first maxsea treatment today!

Did some reporting on the same plants from the above post. Sarracenia Venosa Giant pitchers x sorceror from carnivnivorousplantstore.
now they are very much spaced out and the roots systems were absolute units.

yes all these plants are the same age and Im extremely excited! I may even get this last plant to flower for me in 2 years.

I've been wanting to order from that store but I never see things in stock. I'm going to wait when Spring rolls around.
