Hey Everyone! I though I would be uploading a lot more spring pictures, but there wasn't much to share.
So new thread it was. Just today I finished the re-bogging of a few container in preparation for summer.
As my red container required 2L of water every few days if it was hot outside, while my bogs were perfectly fine.
Anyways, Now I only have bogs (on the patio) and no inside plants it makes sense that I need to upload the changes.
I used to have a red container that I filled with various plants from WillyCKH and cpgeek, now thats all gone!
Here is the nicest photo of it before (forgot to take a photo before transplant)
and here it is now!
But this thread is not only about this new bog, its all about all my other ones (though this is the nicest)
This one got some random burying insects in the soil, so the end purp and red leaved one got affected
Im pretty behind this year, just like alot of you guys. only things left is to remove some of my taller species for purps
Next year Im going to reearrange some plants to make it look as nice as my newest one.
Each bog has a gravel layer on the bottom with some plastic garbage acting as a filter before the soil. The two new bogs the first one and the last one with the container in the bog have a peat perlite soil, while the other two are pure peat with sphagnum moss around each plants root system.
