Seems to really like sticking its tendrils under the moss. This newest pitcher is just barely peeking out.

Time for some updated photos

N. edwardsiana AW04, 8cm wide pot:
From our recent group buy. The older leaves are a nice dark purple. Hopefully I can induce the same pigmentation with bright light.

Looks like getting the AW edwardsiana to tan won't be a problem

Here's a look at my BE-3225 villosa. I overfed it some time ago and caused the new growth to burn pretty severely. Here it is pulled out of its pot so I can check on the roots. They seem fine so I'm hopeful that the plant will return to growing normally soon.

You can also see in the photos that this villosa likes to make a lot of subterrainean pitchers.

Overfed how?
I tried root feeding it with soluble fertilizer maybe a month or two ago. The leaf tip on the newest leaf turned black within a day or two, so I rinsed the potting mix out with RO water. Later on I tried feeding it through one of the pitchers (the shriveled up one in the following photo), which also resulted in the newest leaf tip burning off, so for now I've given up on trying to feed it anything.

I have found the Tetra colour bites work without any harm. I use them in all my "pitcher" type plants, maybe every 6 weeks or so. For a Ceph pitcher 1 or maybe 2 for a big pitcher. Sarr's, Hell's 1-3 per pitcher depending on size. One Heli plant has a ridiculous number of pitchers, so only 1 per pitcher.
