Justin’s Pic of the Day

I am lucky enough to work with Carnivorous Plants and have a large enough collection to see new stuff every day. I take this for granted some days and I tend to overthink some posts and only show off what I feel is “worthy” of a post, this means I don’t post what I see as average even though some members would love to see it.

I’ll try to keep this thread filled with photos of my day to day experiences with Carnivorous Plants.

To start, this was the last picture I took. A seed grown Sarracenia leucophyla from Baldwin Co Alabama still holding on.

I believe that they germinated about 2 and half years ago, DVG made an epic cross with these, good germination and amazing growth. I grew a batch of tuncata about 9 (10?) years ago and they took about 6 years to get to this size. I had two males and a female bloom this year out of the 4 seedlings I kept.

That truncata is a true masterpiece at 2.5 years old, amazing growing! Can't wait until it throws out some pitchers to match those leaves.
That was quite a seed giveaway by DVG...my seedlings are still puny compared to that.

They are really putting on growth! Even the small ones are 6+ inches across now. Going to try to pot them all up this month.
