How to Post Photos

So anyone know how to resize photos on a phone? Any time i try and upload a file its too big :(

Frankly I've given up posting photos with my phone or tablet. With the old forum using Tapatalk the photos were automatically resized, hosted and posted. Now I take photos with my phone and upload them to Dropbox, then when I get a chance I go to a Windows computer and resize them with MSPaint. I then can post them on the forum from the Window computer. I tend to bulk post photos when I'm at a computer but I don't post as many photos as I did on the old forum, but maybe that's a good thing. ;)

There is an app to work photos. Just look for a photo editing app. If you want to work your pictures on a computer, like Dave, Dropbox is nice. You can also set up your cloud to share pictures from your phone to your computer. Guys, come on... Taking screenshots!!! Can't be serious lol!!! Just kiding!!;)

I tried to find the most simple trick haha.
I personally transfer to my computer via USB then resize and photo-edit my picts on Adobe Photoshop (but that something I use on work).
So all the hard wait hehe

I just have the lap top any more and its um lets call it tempermental, 99% of everything i do is on my phone. Ill look for an app, i was just hoping someone had a recommended one lol

What angers me is that with all the bloatware that comes with my Samsung Galaxy S8 the photo editor doesn't have a "save for web" option. I refuse to install another app just for that 1 function.

...not that I should be posting here but I did start an exact thread somewhere else around here pertaining to the exact same thing. Thank God for all this convenient technology. We could go on posting about how to fix it for an eternity (and have been), or until a self driving car runs us over. I suspect getting run over is the more productive end. Cheeerio!

My bad im still digging through the forum, its been a while since i did any forum visiting things have changed alot and im not so tech savy :/

A couple updates later and the process is much the same but some of the nomenclature has changed a little and there’s been some confusion.

Instead of the "Upload a File" button, use the “Attach files” button in the bottom left.

Then, select one of the three options:
-Photo library
-Take photo or video
-Choose files
I prefer to use Photo library and select a previously taken vetted picture rather than attempt to take an on the spot picture.

Select the picture or pictures you would like and then press the “Add” button in the top right corner to upload to your post.

This final part is all the same as H2O’s original post, but I thought I would attempt to elaborate on how to place the pictures. Once the pictures are uploaded they will appear in your post as an attachment at the bottom. To insert a picture in your post between sentences/paragraphs, or to place the pictures in order, move the insertion point (the blue bar you type with) to where you would like to place the picture. Then press the thumbnail or full image button.
