Heterodoxa x minor

This plant has become very big and just keeps growing and flowering. I'd like to give some away in the spring but unfortunately it seems to only have a central rooting part so there doesn't seem to be a natural way to separate parts with their own roots. Now I have given some "nutans" and minor away without roots. Does anybody have any experience with this hybrid rooting from cuttings?

Yes they will root fine if you plant it in live sphagnum moss, and keep the humidity very high. I have had success with a H. minor pitcher rooting, it took a few months though.

Pretty sure you sent me a couple loose pieces of this hybrid last spring...they didn't take for me, but it was fun to try (also the heat dome really didn't help things). I've had other rootless pieces establish, so I'm sure it can be done!

They aren't hard from what I remember. High humidity, bottom heat and live lfs made the golden ticket. Just takes time

I've had good results with this particular hybrid in the past with almost pure lfsm(a little bit of perlite mixed in there too), bagged, and on a sunny windowsill.

I could take some in the spring i have both but not the cross between them
