My name is Mateo and I live in Saskatoon. I am also currently studying science in agriculture at USASK and competing with Huskies Track and Field.
I started collecting carnivorous plants about 2-3 years ago and my favorite species are Nepenthes and Drosera. My collection is formed from plants I have gotten at Floral Acres, Early's and Dutch Growers.
I have only a few species of Nepenthes such as N. alata, N. Rebecca Soper, N. sanguinea and N. St. Gaya. I also have some Drosera species but I am still trying to figure out how to propagate them and I also have some Pinguiculas.
I am looking for other growers in Saskatoon that might have different species of Nepenthes and would like to trade or sell.
I am currently trying to succesfully grow with the hope of propagating a N. spectabilis x reinwadtiana and a N. spectabilis x mirabilis. I want to try getting more species options into Saskatoon outside of the ones already being distributed and in stores so that growers can access them!
