Definitely viable. I usually trim all the dead stuff off but be careful, it's really easy to cut or break live parts off.

Got it thanks lloyd will do later. How do you culture spring tails can i use the old pitchers as there food. And put it somewhere in a container?

A new pitcher opened up on my nutans! Just waiting for new growth before I start cutting holes in the bag it's usually covered with unless I can start now? I'm not sure how long to keep it bagged for.

I keep them in a terrarium with 2 little fans and some vents open so the humidity is probably average. I do fill the pitchers daily with rain water to help with hydration.

I have repotted and divided the D. Menziesii and have a pot to give away to anyone in the GTA that would like to pick it up. There are some newly sprouted tubers in it as well as some long stems.

This is a great tuberous dew for beginners, just keeps growing like crazy if you keep feeding FDBW.

Mine are also sporting lots of new growth, a couple new pitchers since I last posted, and some green tips poking from the ground now, too. I may need to divide the drosera soon and give one or two away.

Hi Guys do not know what is happening to this heliamphora minor. I tried to clean up today but unfortunately the old roots go pulled off today but i notice there is a healthy roots coming out is this still going to survive. I just repotted it by putting it a little lower unlike before and put ziplock the same way as it was.

If you're patient that should definitely root. Keep it in the medium, always damp, not hot and medium light.
