Heliamphora pulchella (Churi Tepui)

This little guy has struggled for a long time but has been putting out baby pitchers regularly. I just noticed that he has stretched way over to the edge of the pot to start a new clump. Do Helis normally grow stolons (is it a stolon)?
Thought it was kinda interesting.

I'm not sure if they are technically stolons but they do tend to grow in a straight line just under the surface until they hit the pot.
