Flowers on red vs non-red cephs

A few of my cephs are starting to flower. Here's a Hummer's Giant flower compared to a Eden Black flower growing in the same conditions

And here's a flower stalk from a Charles Brewer 'Red' which also seems more red compared to the Hummer's Giant stalk

I do see from pictures I find online that ceph flowers range in redness, but mine are all in the same growing conditions so either the Hummer's Giant is more green than normal, or the red ones are more red than normal. Too bad I don't actually have a mature typical ceph to compare to.

it would sand to reason in plants that the pigmetaion of the plant will cary through to the flowering spike and flower buds , happens in neps to , veitchii is one that is usually green but has red flower buds ,may be for pollination reasons ? the plant world is amazing how they do this though
