I was gifted this stunning pot of Pygmy’s yesterday from Smilodonichthys, one of the two getting the gemmae.

Mine have arrived yesterday! All but one seemed healthy enough. How fast do they germinate and grow?

They don't really germinate, they just grow. If you look with a magnifying glass, you can almost see the growth daily.
