I feel so guilty I gave him a little shock and sad that biggest pitcher took victim but all growth points and crown still look very healthy.

I normally cut the dead or dying pitchers. Shall I cut the pitcher and lead off?

oh sorry Mimi that plant does not look good. Lloyd said let it be and I agree with him.. In my opinion middle is dead, plant is dead. But just leave it alone. do not water it for a bit. look very wet. Mimi sometimes let the plants react., the less you care the best they do and the more you will learn. For example I water my helis like maybe once a month and at this moment they have new growth everywhere meaning they like it. My Cephas I watered last the Dec 20 and I have not ever since. They have new growth now. That means she is happy right now. Now how do I know the Ceph wants water or I should increase watering? well very simple the trap lids tend to close when they need water. Do you see what I am saying?

Cheers, care lots for my plants lol I love them . Ceph been very healthy until I disturbed him. He hasn’t been watered in months and I repotted it few weeks ago.
thats very interesting about the trap lids. Thank you.
crown is green and surrounded pitchers are too so looks good despite the die back.
he just got little shock from the move but all eyes will be on him.

I find that more often than not, giving these plants extra love and care usually ends up in doing them more harm, whether it be trimming, fertilizing, moving them around, or looking at them too much. They do best when completely ignored as long as the soil is moist and the lights are bright.
