I think mine has also started to grow. I saw signs of growth about 2 weeks ago and I thought it was moss. Anyways here it is today:

Do I need to do something to make sure the gametophytes achieve fertilization and that they start producing sporophytes? The spores I planted now look like this:

I believe all of them are in the gametophyte stage

It helps to have a thin film of water on the surface so the gametes can swim across.

Best to just water from below and let the water wick up. Spraying might disturb the process.

It got to this point and stalled out. Any suggestions?
I tried a light mist of diluted Seagrow/Maxsea and almost killed it.

Mine stalled a lot smaller than that. I have a bigger one that I didn't grow from spores. It likes the Schultz Orchid Food at 1/2 scoop per 2.5 liter sprayed with a fine hypodermic about every 3 weeks.
