Seems fitting to pass on some seeds as I originally got this plant as seeds in a giveaway here.

A beginner question here, what does it mean for "Type Form", is that because it's unchanged from the original one collected?

Drosera paradoxa and Drosera paradoxa ‘Type form’ are both paradoxa but with different physical characteristics.

I haven't had any germinate yet. Mine are in a peat/perlite mix at day temperatures between 26 and 29 C, night night is lower. They are sitting in water. Day length is about 14 hours. Would sphagnum be better?

Mine germinated on a peat sand mix outdoors. my soil surface temperature might have even spiked over 45 degrees for a few days during our heat event just before they sprouted. I transplanted them onto moss indoors before it got too cold for them outside.

You conditions sound good, I would guess a little warmer this sundew doesn’t like to grow in the low 20’s.

From my limited experiences... The Petiolaris Complex Sundews love it with moderate to high humidity, hot temperature (~30C+), bright lighting, tray watering method 1-3cm at all time. To help with germination, I find that GA3 soaking is very helpful (500ppm for 24h worked for me).

How are you guys doing with germination? This one can take some time and like specific conditions, took me a year to germinate them last time. Saved myself some seed and am doing better this time.

I had about 6 germinate, but unfortunately lost them (along with all my seedlings) as I was not at the house keeping the trays watered.. The temp care giver forgot water lol.

I have 15 packs of fresh Drosera paradoxa ‘Type form’ 25 seeds per pack to give away this time. This sundew has more challenging requirements than easy growing sub tropical Drosera, see the previous attached link in the first post for conditions.
