No germination yet for me. :( I probably planted them within a couple of days of receiving them, which is conveniently marked in this thread, so somewhere around 5 1/2 weeks ago. Not time to panic quite yet.

I also don't *really* know what I'm doing here. I'm sort-of expecting everybody else's results to be better than mine.

Not yet. I had 8 bottles in TC. All but 1 got mould after 6-7 weeks. One bottle left, no germination. Some seeds in live LFS, no germination.

None of mine have sprouted yet either. Do folks have opinions on how long one should wait before giving up?

Several of mine are overgrown with algae; I'm not really sure how much of a problem that is at this stage of the life cycle.

Nothing on mine yet either, will be 8 weeks this Sunday for mine.

@spiffyzha I wouldnt give up until probably 4-5 month range but if nothing is happening at 3 months they're probably not going to germinate. Algae is definitely a problem, I don't know if it will completely inhibit germination though. I boil all my seed media now before planting, it really makes a big difference in my limited experience. I do 5 minutes boiling then let it sit overnight in the pot with the lid on to cool. I took 2 pics here for example, one of my seeds from Willy (2 months old) and another from April 2023 that dont even have any real moss growing yet.

Hi friends, don't give up on the seeds yet! Nepenthes seeds may take many months to sprout.
If they really don't turn out well in a few months, I'll try to send you guys something else as compensation... I'll make sure you get something growing. :)
Willy
