In the past, I had good success germinating ceph seeds on my windowsill.
I sow the seeds in a 3X3X4 plastic pot on a layer of New Zealand LFS (that cover my usual ceph mix).
It helps keep a good humidity level and mold at bay.
I put a plastic wrap over the pot and poke a few holes in it and cross my fingers.
It get really cold here in Winter so near my windowsill the temperature will drop near 10C and the light level will fluctuate.
That way, the seeds sprout at the end of Spring when the temperature and light length increase.
I try to copy the natural conditions a fellow ceph grower in UK had success with (he is growin ceph in a cold greenhouse).
