First time seeing this spider on my plant, pretty sure this is the catch of the year for me. Fly in a headlock. Forgot to say the fly was caught in some nectar then the spider got it, so technically catch of the day

Drosera capensis ‘Alba’ smacked a large rare bug these days as most are hiding from the cold.

Love our veggie kids! Whenever I see a flying insect anywhere in the house I always invite it to have some quality time with my drosera in the basement. Muhahaha!

This bug’s wings are crucified across 2 leaves and suspended over the lower one. Might use tweezers and move it for a more humane sacrifice.
