Sarracenia seed pods need to hurry up! I'm itching to stratify some seeds. Also just ordered some sarracenia seeds from flytrap king so I will have some cool plants coming up!

October 7th and the capensis are still happy outside. 26 degrees in the valley today. Still feels like summer.

Leucos are still throwing up lots of new pitchers. Flavas and their hybrids are sad looking now though!

Decided to divide this flava hybrid. A few months earlier than normal but the peat mix it was in was starting to smell terrible.

Bit off more than I could chew haha this is it after getting 20+ divisions and I ran out of suitable pots. This mother plant is now In a giant pot.

I think it's normal for the deeper peat to smell sulfurous. Just anaerobic.

Uh oh. Time to winterize the bog planter. Collected a whole bunch of pine needles and will tarp over it.
