Beginner looking to begin...again...but need seeds.

Hi, everybody! Hi, Dr. Nick!
Its been a few years since I've been around. My first and last attempt at growing from seed was a good learning experience (to say the least)...lol. Had some sprout, but couldn't maintain life. I still have all my peat, perlite, lights and such.
I'm currently on long term disability due to cancer x4 in 15 months and don't really have funds to purchase seeds at the moment.
But I need something to pass the time and stay positive, something to look forward to, and was hoping to get back in the saddle.

Long post short, I was wondering if anyone had some spare seeds they were willing to part with. It would really mean a lot.
Currently living in Winnipeg.

Many thanks! Stay safe, be well!

Edit.
...and I would definitely keep the grow logged here. Thanks again!

I'll start a new thread when the time comes. Currently checking lights and cleaning out the tent. Will grab some distilled water when I hit the supermarket next.

Thanks again, @Les serres de Paolo Inc. !!
Very curious as to what you're sending. Do you think I'll need anything else other than the perlite and peat?

Only need peat moss and perlite!

4 pack of species of Drosera seeds
1 pack of seeds of Dionaea muscipula

Here's a pic of the setup.
2' x 4' tent
1x marshydro ts600 (100w)
2x 100w 5k led fixtures
2x Honeywell fans (1 for circulation, 1 exhaust outside of tent

Will only use what's necessary. Probably won't need all that light or space...yet.

A great journey starts with a single step.

Thanks very much for the offer, @stevebradford !! I'm not sure if I should wait and see how I make out with these seeds from Paolo first or shotgun blast my way back into the hobby...lol.
If you send them, I'll plant them. I'm trying to keep my mind as occupied as possible for the next 8ish months.

Hey there!
I just went through some crazy cancer treatments myself for stage 4 cancer. I understand how rough it is.
Focus on the cure and try to put your mind in things that you enjoy...! Growing from seeds is great, you are on the right track here!
Make sure to take photos of them and keep track of how they grow for you, if you have the energy.
PM me your address and I'll send you few Sarracenia seeds.
Cheers,
Willy

I'm wondering if I should make one of these mini-bog deals. Anyone have any experience with these?

There's posts on the forum about this topic. People have tried a number of ideas. Basically a pot of peat/perlite with some drainage material (that won't leach minerals) at the bottom and a pipe touching the bottom to allow water changes.

I have 2 small bog planters, thanks to the generosity of people on this forum :) As someone without a lot of indoor space or lighting, I really like having them all together. The pings didn't thrive (maybe too wet for them, I repotted the surviving one elsewhere) but everything else did well last summer until mealy bugs and aphids moved in and stunted growth. They're inside now overwintering. I have a thread about it here if you want to see how I did it https://carnivorousplantsociety.ca/...-the-travelling-bog-planters.5582/#post-45064
