Anyone knows what kind of mushrooms this is?

Hi guys!

Could anyone tell me what these are? They have grown in one of my grow bed that’s filled with horse poop mixed with soil and straw.

Mushroom identifying is for the experienced. Looks a little Amanita-ish to me.

There are only two types of mushroom hunters. There are the old mushroom hunters and there are the bold mushroom hunters…. but there are no old bold mushroom hunters.

I dont see a volval sac or ring on the stem so it probably isn't an amanita.

are you able to take a spore print and maybe a picture of one of the mushrooms pulled up so we can see the base?
its also useful to see where the gills meet the stem of the mushroom

I agree it probably isn't an amanita.

However, I only know my forest mushrooms... other than shaggy manes and puffballs which are very easy haha. But this is neither of those.

Local experts are usually the best choice. Online identification like this is best done for easy ones; shaggy mane, morels, chanterelles, etc.

anyway, my guess is Hebeloma crustuliniforme or "poison pie" mushroom
If it is Hebeloma, it should smell like radish when you crush the flesh.

I just trashed them to take no chance. With three kids around, don’t want anything to happen. Thanks for the ID guys, really appreciate it!

No, it had no particular smell but I didn’t smell it up close. If any new one grows I will post a picture.
