Acclimating Cephalotus Necessary?

Receiving my Cephalotus today and while I'm pretty much completely prepared, ready and excited for it... I had one last question about acclimating it. I acclimate my Neps using the bag method right now and wanted to know opinions before doing it with Ceps as I know they are prone to fungal infections.
Would it just be better to place it in the new environment and let it adjust there? Ik there will be lots of die back since they're sensitive little plants but don't wanna shock and kill it.. thank you!!

Depending on seasons. in my house, the humidity can be really low.
I keep half my ceph in bag all year long and most of them are doing really well.
I think you should keep it in a bag for a moment, it will serve as a quarantine at the same time.
Just take care to not put it near the light to prevent too much heat in the bag.

That's good to hear, so mold is never an issue? I just received mine and started doing the bagging method for now

It all depends on growing conditions.
The ceph that are kept in bags are rarely watered, I only keep them moist. I open the bag once a month or two to be sure the media isn't drying. This can happen when the water evaporates on the side of the bag but does not fall back into the pot.
The other cephs are only watered when the pitchers are closing.
Note that this is my way of growing them and probably not suitable for everyone.
